I think sharkskin would be better. Something about the roundness of the birdseye pattern looks off to me as odd trousers. But that's purely subjective.

[after a brief trip down the fabric rabbit hole] What about 74162 and 74163. I can't tell exactly what weave they are, but they might work.They only have solid twills that are a bit mottled like flannel.
