My tailor once made pillow covers from some leftover escorial jacketing I had.

Those are good buys, but you'll have to find a smaller guy to buy them.

Thanks everyone. Gonna see about a jacket for the gunclub. I wear a size 36 so probably doable.

I want to commission a 'casual' suit for the colder months. Ideally something that can also be worn as separates. At the moment I'm thinking of either a patterned or non CBD-colour flannel (beige?) or a heavy cotton blend corduroy in either dusty olive or tan.

Grateful for any thoughts - any other colours or fabrics I should be seriously considering?

100% Flannel for my money. Nothing sexy about this rec, but Minnis Flannel has some great lighter shades.

Paone makes me odd jackets out of 1.8m (wool cloth) and I am a US50.

I have wanted to do this with a deep blue flannel.

    WB14820 or 14821, or 14829

    Very light, breathable.

I love my WB14821 jacket, but I'm not sure about a suit with that fabric.

Its texture is fine but the cloth is not woven tight enough for pants.

Taupe flannel would be nice. That NMWA x Eidos chocolate brown cord suit from a couple years ago was great in person.
