You're welcome. They seem to have hidden their website quite efficiently: http://www.drapersitaly.com/.

Edit: and then I saw C&A's post...

you can find most draper's offerings in the uk
    under their original brands
    eg vbc
    loro piana
    etc
    and for their english cloths
they source it from the same few weavers
    as other 'brands'

Ah, so Drapers is a cloth merchant (hope I'm using the right term) like Scabal and not a weaver?

That must be the reason why the tailor hadn't heard of Drapers before, makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

So which book would I need to look in to find the wool/linen/silk mixed fabric above. Seems more Loro Piana than VBC to me...?

I would just like to illustrate how unreliable the pics of ebay cloth sellers (even established ones like British Fabrics) are.

Here is the photo from the listing

And here is how the cloth actually looks like

    That's a fantastic fabric...

I can't believe the difference between the picture on the website and the real thing..

It turned out well this time... but it has turned out badly for many people. But Howard says he just bought himself an 11 MP camera...

I don't think the camera is the problem...
