This looks like some kind of delicious plush flannel sandwich.

Some stuff waiting to be funded, summer, winter and fall fabrics:
    Very nice.

I was hesitant to pull the trigger on 0300 based on the swatch but it is a lot better when you look at the whole length.
Nah, I've always liked it, the 300.
Looking at the swatches of the lightest grey Minnis flannel (0300) and the lightest grey fresco (0500), I can't help feeling that ideally the colours of the two should have been switched around, so the flannel was slightly darker and more of a mid-grey (I find the 0301 too dark for that) and the fresco slightly lighter. That's probably just me, though. I would love to see examples of both made up.

    But much better.

NOBD Had some pictures of some Drapers suiting in the summer/spring fabric thread. It was a silk/wool/linen mix in navy herringbone. It looked fab. Any way I sent the pictures to a sav row tailor and asked if they stocked it. The answer was not only no, but also that they'd never heard of the stuff. Does Drapers go under some other name in the UK? Really like the look of it: [IMG] [IMG]

They hadn't heard of Drapers? Posers...

    I think that's a jacketing, BTW.

Dormeuil Sportex 2.000. Couldn't find any references about it. (2.000 is the German way of writing 2000.)

^ Yummy! Is that a Fresco style fabric from Scabal? Can't recall seeing it before.

Yeah, it's an open weave just like fresco. It seems to be a "tighter" weave than Minnis frescos that I have handled.

Sounds kind of like H&S Crispaire.

I like that better than the Minnis Fresco in Air Force Blue (0520?). The Minnis one seemed too mottled to me when I saw a swatch.

I know what you mean, that's why I went with this. This is less scratchy too. I would bet that the Minnis is cooler, however.

You'd probably be right. There are several smoother high twist weaves but I have found nothing that wears as cool.
