I've been making some of my own shirts using Acorn fabrics. I'm ready to take a shot at trousers but not sure where I can buy small quantities of good material. Can I do this at TipTop or someplace similar next time I'm in NYC?

Yes, Tip Top or Beckensteins on 39th (if you want to save yourself the trip to Brooklyn)

Raw silks (light brown, light blue, purple, dark brown), going to get a jacket made in navy (darker than the blue here).

Is that brown as rusty as it looks? It would make a sweet jacket, too.

Thanks. There have been some small refinements here and there but it's all tough on the tailor as I've been consistently dropping weight throughout the process.

Here's a shitty bathroom pic. The pants fit cleaner than the pic; I have to pull my pants up a bit.

PS: Pardon the shoes, Manton. My CBD Vass aren't in as yet.

^ Looks good TRINI! I like the lapels. The only small nits I see are that I would taper the sleeves a touch and take in the waist a tiny bit.

Looks good Trini,is the chest pocket too high or does it just seem so to me? I agree with tapering the sleeves a bit.

Nice, Trini. +1 on the slight sleeve tapering, but I'd personally leave the waist as is.

I am actually wearing an almost identical outfit today - sans square and difft shoes[IMG]

Good to see that, despite some of the previous commentary here, you're keeping your style. I agree with the sleeve comments, but otherwise, I like it.
