Arab street is great... if you like faked or terrible suiting fabric

[ad] No wonder they won't buy the good fabrics from Japan. [/ad]

I don't know if I want to laugh or cry.

I honestly wish we had our equivalent of tip top fabrics in Singapore

As I understand it - no market, no demand, too many family-owned businesses with vested interests in keeping prices high.

Crosspost from my thread. What would you call this fabric?

Micro houndsooth with giant check accents?

    Gerbil's tooth with overcheck.

This Lesser x Barbera showed up recently. It's got a nice hand.

I've got the same one for the same thing, will be interesting to see how we interpret this piece...mine will probably be commissioned next Spring.

nobd, I think it's like a carded (worsted?) flannel. i.e. it's not fuzzy but smooth, yet still soft.

Thinking of these four for sport jackets, I am not too excited about the first one so if anyone has any alternatives to it,I'd appreciate it.

Same here. I think the shep check would be more interesting in a houdstooth instead.

I don't really like this one either.

If you want a green base, there's some interesting ones on bookster tweed's cloth gallery.
