This is from the same Lesser/Barbera book I am familiar with. Its a nice cloth but I have not seen anything like it in a while. Scabal used to sell something like it - a softer, fuzzier, version of sharkskin - but I think they discontinued it along with their other cloths I liked. Does anybody know if the Silver Gander is still available?

I have a suit form the Barbera/Lesser Saxony book in a blue/gray herringbone flannel.

As for Silver Gander, it is no more.

    Classrooms are rarely designer showcases.

Kudos to NYR for inspiring the next generation to dress well!

The problem with Solaro is that it wears hot but has a summer time look. So it's really only good for clear spring days or unusually cool summer days.

Or most of the year in San Francisco.

Stereotypes are around we like it or not...

We can be as PC as we want , I will still be surprised to see my kid's teacher in a suit with a hand tattoo.

It doesn't mean I would hold it against you and doubt your profesiona abilities because of it.

I don't like tattoos on hand or neck in general...

Are all the Imageshack photos are fritzing out? I was hoping to see a pic of zbromer's Fresco 520 BlazerSuitâ„¢.

If someone wanted a reference for how the Minnis 520 looks, I put up new non-Imageshack pictures here:

I said this to NYR a couple of years ago - that I would be concerned about the judgment of a teacher who had a hand tatoo.

having now met more of my son''s teachers I don't know that it would bother me as much today.

It's maybe wrong to make some judgement based on a hand tattoo but i did think that immediately when looking at the picture...

It will be a first impression thing...

Afterwards, the professional abilities of NYR will be my essential focus when dealing with him...

In the UK ,tattoos are very common and I don't have a problem with them but not on the neck or the hand.

honestly I would have just thought he was doodling on his hand with a marker. I guess I am pretty naive.
