I ran into Walter Matthau at a movie premiere once. We made eye contact, but I did not bother him.

At the Incubus show at Hollywood Bowl I ran into Jared Leto & Lindsey Lohan. Then a few days later Mekhi Pfeiffer at a gas station in Studio City.

Lindsey, despite what everyone says, was a very nice girl.

I used to run into John Yoo all the time at the gym. And there was that time I came out of a bathroom stall and almost ran into Stephen Kasner.

    These guys are celebrities, right?

Nobody will care unless they're from Bmore but I was introduced to Rick Dempsey ('83 World Series MVP, bitches!) at a restaurant we apparently both frequent recently.

On Sunday we were strolling around and five or six paparazzi were running and walking backwards in front of us, taking shots in our direction. First I thought they mistook me for some model or actor - then I realized that Russell Brand and some chick were walking right behind us. [IMG]

I've never heard of Russell Brand. Perhaps they were stalking you.

You are quite a celebrity on this forum[IMG]

Used to see Ted Turner all the time at the Ted's Montana Grill in downtown Atlanta. One of the waiters told me he lived in the penthouse in the building, but not sure if that's true. Nice enough guy. When I first noticed he was sitting at the table next to me, I guess I caught his eye with my "is that who I think it is" look of recognition, and he cracked a slight smile and went back to eating his bison meatloaf.

I saw Teddy T. at Polly's in Ft. Smith, Montana on the Bighorn about 20 years ago.

This weekend: John Thain out on (what I was told was) his dock...[IMG]

This guy - a British comedian, much more famous in the UK but was in the Sarah Marshall movie in the US. He's hosting the MTV music awards

When I was staying at the Beverly Hilton last year, Tyra Banks was eating breakfast near my spot at the pool. She was leaving at the same time I was, so she was waiting for the valet while I was getting into the hotel's courtesy car (a very nice 7-series that they use to bring guests on short rides).

As a joke, I asked the driver to offer Ms. Banks a ride. He was more than happy to oblige, taking my request literally and walking right over to her.. pointing to me.. and offering a lift. Of course she declined, but I think I made the driver's day.

I also saw Sandra Bernhardt waiting for luggage at MDW recently.. I almost said "I'm sure things will pick up for you again soon"....

Actually, I love her and I think King of Comedy is an absolute classic. ... but Midway? Getting her own luggage? That's just not A-list behavior.
