Shook hands with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen

Dusty Baker, coach of the cubs, lived in my building for 2 years, talked to him a couple of times in the elevator.

Arnold Schwarzenegger-Columbus Ohio-Arnold Classic- shook his hand, nice guy.

Joe Theismann-outside the Park Hyatt

Mike Ditka-shook his hand at Ditka's restaurant
The Fridge at Gibsons.
Dennis Farina, Law and Order, seen him a few times
Kayne West-saw him, didn't talk to him or anything.

* All I can think of for now.

You should have *****-slapped Kanye for being such a whiny *****. Arnold is one guy I'd like to meet. I wish he could run for president.

Where'd you meet the Queen?

One Brit I'd love to meet is Margaret Thatcher, only so I can punch her in the face.

Like Tucker Carlson, you might want to bring one of your pansy friends along for protection. At 80 she could still probably kick your candy ass.

At espn the weekend at mgm studios a few years ago, a friend and i were waiting in line for the Star Wars line. All of a sudden we realized that Karl Ravech (baseball tonight and espn) was in front of us in line and he saw my friend's white sox hat, turned and said in his anchor man voice "Hey guys, did you just hear? Nomar was just traded to the cubs less than an hour ago". It was weird getting a sportscenter update in real life from an anchor in line.

As we got off the ride, we saw eric dickerson getting off and he gave us a nice high five.

There was a little sports area in one section with mini sport games such as a tiny batting cage, a little shooting contest (start with 50 people in line, take a shot from 2 ft away and then keep moving back till last man standing). Brian Urlacher actually joined the contest but got knocked out when he couldn't hit a college 3pointer.

ESPN the weekend at MGM is a really fun experience for any sports fans in florida.

I was in NYC on business a couple of years ago. We were having drinks at the Oak Bar when Farina came in.

This summer mi esposa and I were visiting the Casino in Monte Carlo on a trip to France with our kids. We were sitting outside having something to eat before the casino opened and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond & Amistad) and his gf Kimora Simmons came in for dinner.

On a flight from Dallas to LA a couple of years ago I sat in the row right behind Owen Wilson and Cato Kaelin. Interestingly, no one recognized OW (he had a baseball cap pulled pretty low down over his eyes), but the plane was all abuzz 'cuz "that guy from the OJ trial is sitting in first class."

Met Don Henley at a party at a couple of lawyers' house in Dallas a few years ago. When I pointed him out to my f-i-law (65, big Eagles fan) he ran staight over there and started whipping Henley's ass ("I love your stuff" "You're such a great singer"). Naturally I followed him over so that I could meet him.

Other than the Henley thing, I've never actually approached a celebrity I've seen on the street. Just seems both invasive and kinda creepy.

I noticed Jackie Mason walking ahead of me down Sixth Avenue with some guy I didn't recognize. I sped up a little (it's not like Jackie Mason is sprinting) and waited for a break in their conversation to tell him that I enjoy his work and am a fan, he thanked me, and we each proceeded on our separate ways.

Were you one of Jacko's kids?
No, he was on a Delta flight to Atlanta.

Where'd you meet the Queen?
Back when she visited the USA not too long ago, she used a chartered British Airways airplane from Andrews Air Force Base when she came to Washington.

You met/had a brief encounter with PRINCE. How was that?
It was very cool, he was going to Los Angeles and was the only person in the private jet terminal wearing a purple tracksuit.

Most recent encounter was a few months ago, walking past Clint Eastwood as he was walking back to the Mark Hopkins in SF. He looked as old as he is.

what's his name? jeraldo rivara? something like that, news guy with a mustache?

rosie odonnel and I had a discussion about my tatoo a while back, I had no idea who she was, she came up and told me she liked my tatoo and showed me hers, and asked me a few actually intennelgent questions about mine. I just thought that she was some outgoing woman, only after she left my wife told me who she was. she was dressed all in black, with a baseball hat and large dark glasses.
