Uncovered cloth but odd length; what to do?

Gang, I've uncovered some (suiting) cloth -- snagged it on eBay -- it's 2.7 metres. I expect this is enough for a coat. Am I right? And is there enough for something else to be done with it (obviously not trousers)?
It's 'heavyweight' donegal. God knows how heavy it really is, but it was cheap like a budgerigar.

Doggie coat? Of course, it could rub the poor things fur off.

Depends on your chest size & jacket length. How wide is the cloth? 30" or 60"?

Chris, I've got a 34" chest and my jackets run at 30" down the back. The cloth is 60" wide. Ta.

I'm a 40" chest and 6ft1 1/2" tall. 3.5 meters (for a 60" wide, solid coloured cloth) are more that enough for a jacket and a pair of pants, so 2.7 should be fine for a jacket, even if the cloth has a pattern to it. Note: when a cloth is patterned, more is required, so that the tailor can match the pattern.

a really creative cutter could make you a suit. they would have to use a crotch piece. maybe piece the facing as well. cut with smaller outlets, no cuffs, etc. I have seen it done!
otherwise jacket and vest.

Get seven more fabric ends and make a patchwork jacket a la FNB.
