Unbuttoned dress shirt with an undershirt?

Just for a casual look, do you think that wearing a dark unbuttoned dress-shirt with a white/gray V-Neck or Crew T-shirt would look good?

I was planning on matching it with some light-gray or white flat-bottom sneakers and a pair of slim, black jeans.

Personally, I like that look. It is a bit 90s, but then that is back in style now, right? But seriously, I think for a guy, that is a good, classic look. I would go for the V neck on the T shirt just to give it a more modern (ie androgynous) flair, but a crew neck would be fine too.
