Chilling in Euston station now, waiting for the train to Northampton. Wearing my new pair of Justin Fitzpatrick (aka Shoe Snob) loafers.
^ Looking good!
Really enjoyed touring around the C&J factory today:
Also got to spend a couple of hours with Tony Gaziano, author of the St. James II, perhaps the most elegantly designed and made RTW shoe on the market right now, here in an intermediate stage of production:
-"Cockfosters" twice as funny in person
-8:30 pm and still full sunlight outside
-I think both Tony of G&G and James of C&J thought I was trying to steal their car when I approached it on what turned out to be the driver's side
What were they driving?
Check that, what shoes were they wearing...
Cars. With wheels in front of the right hand seat.
Very disappointing. I had been picturing elves.
Only a teaser photo...saving the elf shots for the final writeup.
For any Londoners interested in meeting up...how about the evening of the 8th?
Depends on how you define evening. I'm off from work around 8:30-9:00, so could be in the city around 9:30 at the latest.
Sunday the 7th is an option too - I thought Monday might be easier for people who work in the city, but either is ok.
Subscribed for elegance and wit. You are the man, UBR.
Awesome, can't wait for the final photos, are you going to visit Alfred Sargent and Tricker's?
