Un-darting a Shirt

Apparently this sub-forum doesn't have a "Ask all your quick questions here thread" so I apologize for having to start a new thread for this.

Just wondering if it's possible to have darts taken out of a shirt and then reapplied. I think my tailor may have gone a little over board on the last shirt I got done. I feel like i'm in a girdle.

Look inside, if the cloth was not cut to make the dart, the stitching can be cut with a seam-ripper and the dart will be "un done". I did this with the firt shirt that I got from N&L years ago. B

Its pretty easy, however, if it is new it is better, as the holes will shrink, which is preferred.

Hmm...I didnt know this could be done. I may do this with a BoO shirt that I am selling if it doenst sell.

I did this to a Prada shirt and it worked out well.
