I really want to get something like Mr. Stewart's suit there now.

I have some 14 ounce flannel that rumples less in the sleeves than others, but still, it's not squeaky clean.

You realize I already answered your question before you asked it, right?

a stitiched edge will stay crisp and not get puffy.

I may be out of line here, but when I press a canvassed lapel, there's slightly more to it than laying it flat and pressing it flat (from the back). Since the lapel was actually stitched in a curve, I try to carefully roll it as I go, using the edge and point of the iron, and then once it's all been filled up with steam I flip it back and reshape it until it's done cooling/drying. This has produced the best results for me. If you have any input, though, I'd certainly like to hear it.
