How do you choose your umbrella when it comes to color and shade? Do you prefer when umbrella fits whether your leather apparel or your cloth apparel?

Here is the dilemma. On one hand, you have the tan leather shoes and tan leather bag. On the other, you have the navy cotton suit and navy cashmere coat.

In this case would you rather buy:
a) a tan umbrella;
b) a navy umbrella;
c) an umbrella of some other color that fits something else like say the color of your metal apparel (e.g. watches).

The wooden crutch and cane will match your leather goods so the "colour" of your actual umbrella should be:

a) black
b) black
c) black

Black and dark khaki are my favorites. I find that they cover most every situation.

And here I was thinking it was a "crook" :confused:
I'm familiar with the term crook but always refer to it as the handle.

It seems black is way too common. Everyone wears a black umbrella.

A wooden crutch is a good thing yet that kind of umbrellas are too big for my bag. That is why I have to choose small umbrellas which can easily went into my bag like this one:

I prefer a hood, frankly. The only umbrella that I've never lost or broken is my SAB, which stays by the door mainly for dealing with touts and tradesmen.

I've got a dark blue/green tartan umbrella with a light wooden crook - it's very dark tartan so doesn't distract but does also satisfy my desperation to be different fetish...

When it's raining, hopefully you're wearing Swims over your shoes and an overcoat? If so, you should match your umbrella to Swims and overcoat.

Do you believe that “Gray with Wooden Crutch - to wear with grey/charcoal/based suits” would not work?
