I'm looking to make this epic and blow all of the previous TSB exchanges out teh box (pun intended).

    The rules are simple:

    1. This will be limited to 20 participants.
    2. Each potential participant must send me a PM including a pic of the ties they are willing to swap and a pic of the tag/keeper & fabric labels.
    3. I will select a panel of senior members to review the entries and select the participants.
    4. Upon acceptance, their name will be added to the list.
    5. The list will be formulated in an east-west/west-east order for efficiency.
    6. No other member will be privy to the pics unless there is a dispute/degradation of the box.
    7. Each member will have 1 business day to review the contents of the box they receive and must send it out by close of business the following day via USPS Priority Mail with tracking (delivery confirmation)
    8. Pocket squares can be included, but if one is taken it must be replaced, etc.

If we get this rolling now we should be able to complete this on this side of 2011.

    All in favour?

Thanks. I plan on going out tie shopping this evening or tomorrow. Normally I just give my ties away but this will be a good opportunity to see what can be done.

I'm still hoping TSB2 will get its act together, but I'm game for this too :)

I'll PM this evening. Are you thinking of just doing 1 tie each for the time being or multiples?

Any restriction on quality/look/ect.? What I saw in the original tie swap thread is nauseous.

Ther is no limit on the amount of ties you wish to swap, but the panel may disqualify some (or you as a potential participant) based on quality.

Submit in pics what you'd like. You'll be notified as to whether you made the cut or not. Spaces are limited. Bring your "A" game.

If this is a success, I'm thinking at the end we can have a tie/square-off where one tie and square is selected by all of the participants via poll and will be worn in WAYWRN fashion buy all 20 participants. Then a winner will be selected as based on who rocked the tie and square best. A prize/prizes will be awarded to the winner (TBD).

    What do you think?

Ultimately, past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Even so, I'm subscribed. :lurk:

I admire your optimism, but there is no way in f*ck this thing gets done by the end of the year. :puzzled:

This is basically a virtual TSB with prizes and potential epicness.

Now if I could just get Spoo to include a certain pink cashmere tie...

I don't know why you guys think this is such a good idea. Why don't you just go to the store (or B&S here on the forum) and buy some ties you like and then wear them?
