    Hello!
First time, so please dont chew me up. [IMG]

Question: I have dark denim jeans and now I need to buy new shoes for casual wear. I dont want sneakers though, Id like something more elegant, so I was thinking of either dress shoes or boots of brown or tan color. Could you please recommend me what style should I be looking for?
Oh and I am 19 yo, so I guess it shouldnt be too dressy, as that would probably make me stand out in the wrong way.

Looking for a new wool jacket for this coming winter. Was thinking of getting a Filson Mackinaw or a Schott Car Coat. Then came across this LL Bean Car Coat on sale http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/64936...0-tn&cat4=6723 Anyone have an opinion on LL Bean quality? Is the filson or Schott worth an extra 180$ or so?

Brown boots would be fine. APC has a pair of zip up boots that look good this season, and there are tons of people who make nice Chelsea or Beatle boots. A lot of people like Alden Indy boots, and there are many other places that make good laceup boots. Just don't buy anything that looks too shiny or pristine, you need to make sure your textures and shapes match.

Ok, thanks guys for the advice.
I searched a local (sort of) manufacturers site and found few, that interested me:
    http://www.bata.sk/artikel/73938
    http://www.bata.sk/artikel/83745
    http://www.bata.sk/artikel/84489
    http://www.bata.sk/artikel/77812

So, what do you think? Ugly or acceptable?
Also, for what weather is this kind of shoes appropriate to wear? I would seem to me, that boots (like the ones in the first link) are more for winter and colder days of autumn and spriing, whereas the other three are more for spring and autumn, but not for cold days of winter. Do I get it right? (I know, stupid question, but up until now I never really cared, what shoes people wear, so I never noticed)

^^Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I own a pair of black 511 jeans and I kinda stopped wearing them because they seemed a bit too tight for me. They look good with some shoes, but then with others just horrendous.

Will Clarks desert boots in suede just get ruined in the rain?
I'm talking about running in & out of places straight to my car...would I be ok?

Really love the black suedes and their shape....shame I can't find a black leather version in a 10.5

Looking to pick up a couple new blazers/sport coats for the fall. Tweed, courduroy, and a basic navy. Don't want to really spend more than 150 - 200 each

UO and Express both make a bunch of faux leather ones.

They're available on the UK clarks website. AE also has J-brand DB's that I think come in leather.
