TK Maxx? That is what TJ Maxx goes by in the UK? Does TJ Maxx rebrand itself with a different letter in every country or just in the UK? This is more mind-blowing than when I discovered Mr. Clean is called Mister Proper in Serbia.

what kind of stuff are you calling "UK versions"...?

a few years ago they had the "covent collar" (tall collar) shirts only avail thru UK shops but now it's all over the benshermanusa.com site. When I was at the BS store in London last year there was nothing "exclusive" to them, and if anything the stock at the LA store was much better than on Carnaby St.

as for quality, while not top notch def not ******. I have tons of shirts over the years and they've all held up remarkably thru repeated washings

Yup TK Maxx in UK is the same as TJ Maxx. I was interested in what they call it in Canada but think it is just called Winners.

from all accounts the stock at TK over here in the UK is considerably better than in the states

from what i understand, the stock in usa is much worse. the uk its anything goes really. ive had few stone island bits from there, the other day i saw a few bits of alexander mcqueen. it does have quite a bad rep in the uk because of its style of ramming 100s of diff items on the same rail for people to hunt through.

TJ Maxx is horrendous. Although it does vary a lot based on your location. Supposedly if you live in a major metropolitan area and the local buyer has good contacts, you can sometimes find semi-decent things there. I have never witnessed this, however. The one near me has an unlimited supply of Tommy Hilfiger, Chaps, and Geofrey Beene in sizes L through XXXXXL.

Great but it's the **** that actually fits me and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Depending on yor income, when you mostly wear shirts, buying shirts at $150-$200 a pop isn't an option...

+ 1

I think TJ Maxx caters more to suburban teenagers, the ones here in Omaha have tons of ECKO, sean jean, Fubu, and the occasional RL polo.

Ross 'Dress For Less' is slightly better; though you will never find anything like Baracuta or Ben Sherman just the occasional uncommon Levis stuff (Andy Warhol x Levis, Levis Redloop, et cetera) and decent homeless (no box) shoes.

What are you basing that one? UK Ben Sherman pique shirts, for example, are cut much larger than the Korean made ones.

As for "Ben Sherman stores in most malls in London" that is just complete and utter nonsense!

If you don't know anything about a subject don't respond with such total inaccuracies
