I've never tried Intimissimi but probably should as they seem to have a shop about every 100 meters in Rome. For higher end I like Saxx, which ships free worldwide on orders over $125.

One day my mother taught me that it is better to buy 2 expensive things than 10 cheap ones. It's not about money, but the quality of the things we buy. I remembered her words for a long time, so now I buy underwear only from natural fabrics that don't harm the skin. If you are a woman, I recommend https://www.blackalice.co.uk/collections/plus-size-lingerie, but I wouldn't call this lingerie simple. I bought several sets there before my wedding. In my view, underwear should be both beautiful and comfortable.
So you will only wear two pairs of ladies underwear each week?

I am not sure if that is sarcasm lol. But I currently have Hanro and Perofil, and Oscalito, Fenlis, and Vedoneire on the way. Novila and Zimmerli are on the wish list. The feeling of luxury super soft ELS cotton is amazing. Although I want to try Merino underwear too.
Vedoneire were very disappointing. They are extremely thick.

However, 2(X)IST are very good...

Very impressed with Jockey undershirts, the Midway trunks I purchased are a bit baggy...

I have bought five Intimissimi undershirts. They are quite good, but I prefer the Jockey brand of which I have six.

@Panama how it’s been your experience so far?

I’m replacing my old underwear from ZD and Zimmerli with italian makers. Mostly filo di scozia crom: Oscalito, Perofil, Julipet, Bresciani and Ragno. Any other maker worth trying?

Oscarlito are too expensive for what they are. Perofil are great. Too many Italian brands won't ship to the UK anymore but brands such as Felis and Nottingham produce Filo di Scozia shorts which are very good value. For under shirts I would consider Jockey - obviously non Italian and Intimissimi...

I currently have:
Fells x6
Perofil x6
Nottingham x3
Ragno x3 100% cotton but not Filo di Scozia
Olimpia x1
Oscarlito x1

Bresciani are on the wish list.

Julipet and Ragno are good brands. I only have Julipet sleep wear. The following brands are also good quality:

Cagi
Boglietti
Alpina
