but you feel like they are when you put them on. I'm sure everybody has at least one item they feel this way about

You know, that thing which is ugly by all conventional standards, but you still wear it anyway...

For me it's this Ralph Lauren hooded button-up shirt, in an incredibly garish plaid. Extremely 90's, but I love wearing it and mixing it into the wardrobe. Plus, I've never seen another person wearing anything like it... Probably because most of them were burnt

What's your guilty clothing pleasure, or am I just crazy....

I'm not sure I'm crazy about this thread topic but this description cries out for PICS!

I'll snap some later. It's seriously ugly as sin, and should never be worn. Yet I do. I wish I could explain why... Surely there are other people out there with things that fit into this category.

White Birkenstock Boston's. They go perfectly with my Rogan's.

Plaid Guess? flannel shirt. Ugly as ****, but easily the most comfortable shirt I own. I usually hide it under a sweater.

you feel stylish in uggs/velour pants? Do you wear a velvet blazer with them?

Maybe stylish wasn't the word, maybe just comfortable? I'm not sure exactly what I'm getting at.

Men in Uggs = a much greater sin than women in Uggs. I saw some guy walking down the street wearing Uggs the other day and I started busting out laughing and pointing at him.

Kidding about the pointing part.

Men in Uggs? I'm not sure if I will be able to sleep tonight knowing that men actually do that.

Men wearing Uggs should have their own douchebag theme song.

Uggs started out as slippers for women and men meant to worn indoors. I believe the company was really popular in Australia and New Zealand before Mischa Barton set her sights on them.

I'm not even sure what this thread is supposed to be. Ugly things that you wear (willingly) anyway? Things that should not work but do? Things you hate and just want to ***** about for.. some reason?

And uggs did originally start as slippers. For that, they're quite nice. They're also good if you surf in colder climates.

^ Yeah, Men in UGGS looks silly, but come on, they look sexy on asian chicks, I dig it. Funny though, as I sit here with my sheepskin boots on - not UGGS mind you, but very similar...and I do work for a place that sells UGGs for the bulk of their Winter revenue, so yeah, I'm biased. Still, I don't wear them outside of the house, and I have yet to admit that I wear sheepskin to anyone who I know in real life

Anyhow, I have to say turtlenecks are the one item that look outlandish for some reason when I wear them. Wouldn't know if they're in style much right now...I just know that me and turtlenecks are a bad match.
