Was the keyboard tie ever meant to be taken seriously? I guess that wasn't really streetwear...

Seriously, my nominee is any and all variations on the once-ubiquitous Steve Madden/Ken Cole leather bowling-style shoes, or whatever they are/were called:

They were wack in 2002 and they're even more wack now, but these motherf***ers are still being made and worn. W t f**k?

The Shanewear is even milder than the Kenneth Cole.

For some seriously crazy stuff, check pix of Brioni from the 70s.

Also, if you are directing ridicule at something, it's best to check your spelling first. I think the word you seek is 'amateur."

The shoes you posted are not that bad, still they're ugly but not comparable to the squared toe dress shoes they have. That stuff's just horrendous.

Those ridiculous 'crocs' that were popular for awhile.

Also, the Eiffel Tower jeans from Cheap Monday.

My vote goes to MC Hammer pants. There's actually a guy down the street who I've seen walking around town in a pair of shimmering gold ones, tastefully paired with a black leather jacket.

Why on earth do you need suspender buttons on a selvage union suit?

Why the hell do you need to have red paint representing a "seagull" painted from your shoulders to your ankles? Ungliest freaking denim tux ever.
