It does not matter if they hot or not. When temperature I think woman should wear ugg boots instead o pointy toe constricting boots.

I never considered wearing Ugg boots but I saw man who used to come to night class in suit and ugg boots. He was professional who worked for small investment firm, I assume he was wearing shoes in his office.

They've ALWAYS been horribly disgusting. I'm so glad my fiance isn't into all the hideous trends that keep coming around and has more taste than 99% of females.

Concurred.

Made of sheepskin. Worn by sheep.

Those look ******* awesome! I'm past the Ugg bashing at this point. If she's hot, she can wear wood block shoes for all I care. If she's ugly, then the Muslims aren't so wrong after all.

Appropriate, Uggs were designed to be beach shoes. Still ugly as **** shoes though.

Uggs are just plain inelegant.

Also, hello to a fellow Nashvillian!

I feel like they make attractive women less attractive. To me they show a lack of individuality and style.

Uggs are apres-ski/house slippers. I remember growing up in Australia everybody male/female had a pair for winter, and they weren't terribly expensive; my girlfriend went out this winter and bought one of the trendy pairs with the side buttons and they were like $350 here.

I can't believe we needed to ask this as a question for the group lol. They are terrible. Groupthink at its worst. If you want comfort fine, but don't tell me they look great, too.

What surprises me is that they're still kind of in fashion.

They made their first appearance on New York streets in 2002-2003 (at least that's when I first noticed them), then migrated west. For a few years they declined sharply in New York, but now seem to be on the rise again. It's a very quick cycle.
