For those that haven't had the email, following this link should take you to the 60% off sale (on entering a US mailing address, the 17.5% VAT is knocked off).

Is this going on for the US? I realize you can purchase through the UK link, but currency conversion sucks.......is there an "up to 60% off" for us yanks?

does the currency conversion work out to a better or worse discount than the standard u.s. 50% off price, after VAT is adjusted for?

Still far worse. For instance, the boots I want are 135 GBP ($263) after VAT is removed with the "End of Season Sale." Using the 50% off link for the U.S., they are $211 total, including shipping. Maybe it is worthwhile for some items, although I sincerely doubt it. There will be a sale for the U.S......eventually.

it appears to be worthwhile. i put went to the UK sale site and 4 of the cheap sale shirts into my bag - each at 18.72 pounds with the VAT out(these normally go 55 pounds on the UK site and for $99 on the US site, half price at 49.50 on the US 50% off site). and i had logged on which designated my address as the US, so the site had prices without VAT. anyway, on the UK sale I got a total price of 86.92 british pounds with the 12 pound shipping charge. coversion at XE.com appears to be about $169

when i went to the US site, the same items plus shipping were $211.95. so it appears to be worth it for the shirts. it probably varies by item.

if I click on any of the links off the main page, it switches to the US site and the discounts go away...
