What should this number be for a 44R and a 46R double breasted jacket (US sizing)?

    Thanks.

    I'm guessing approx 32 - 32.5"

DB jackets are pretty much the same length as SB, but may be slightly shorter.

    Renault,

My 50E (40R American) Italian jackets run 32"-32/5" from top of the jacket to the bottom hem. I'd think that the larger sizes mentioned would run longer? You're right that the DB can be somewhat (but not very) much shorter than SB.
