Yeah I did notice Fury stepping in with the jab with his weight behind it this time around. It looked like it surprised Wilder and gave him a lot of trouble. The extra weight Fury put on looked like it helped him bully Wilder around and take punches a bit better. He really showed he’s the top guy with his performance.
Hindsight is everything, but I do think this era of heavyweights is pretty good. There’s Fury, Wilder, & Joshua at the top. Parker is pretty good too. Usyk is skilled, but he may be a bit undersized. All these guys have personalities and are exciting to watch. Things are exciting in the division again. I think we can all agree the Klitschko brothers era was pretty lackluster.
