I have two pair of Brogues already, one tan and one chestnut. I saw these two tone Loake 1880, Im considering purchasing them, as they offer a good alternative to full suede (hard to maintain). I wear my shoes to bars etc so they get scuffed a lot.

So what say you? Yay or nay?

tcbrgs, what would you propose to wear with them?

My initial reaction is that they're not something I can imagine wearing myself; the combination of two colors, two kinds of leather, and the broguing make them a bit too busy for my taste, and I don't see them fitting with anything else in my wardrobe. But that may be merely a commentary on the poverty of my imagination, I suppose.

Cheers,

Ac
