    Hey,

I've been wrestling over whether or not to trust www.surmesurepascher.com with two hundred euros. For that amount, they promise two tailor made suits. It is a pretty interesting business model, but has anyone tried buying anything from them or any such provider? I appreciate your comments.

P.S. Ethical concerns over supporting sweatshops?

Faites gaffe. Les tÃ[IMG]moignages de Ebay ne compte pour rien. The only thing you can generally do is order their cheapest offering, and inspect the quality of the sewing before deciding to throw more money at them.

I am the seller of www.surmesurepascher.com . Yes, you can doubt if our products are good enough, because you have never tried.... That's quite reasonnable.....
Try EBAY!!!

Well I would not buy something from somewhere that make their products at sweatshops. I'm not saying the website in your post do sweatshops, as I don't know if they do. [IMG]

I am sorry, try to open your eyes and please don't think as you are still in 70's of 20 century.......

How much are you paying? I don't think any of us want to be paid in your suits.

In fact, 80% of translation has been done, and it was a very kind client who has done this for free. We just need to translate about less than 2000 words....
Pay by money or suit, for us it's the same.
( My English is very poor.... thanks guys....)

Doubtless something resembling a suit can be put together for that money. However you get what you pay for and it would never match up to anything better despite what a salesman might have to say to the contrary.

I represent a translator who might consider this task if you can copy these boots for him in every detail. Only this time using real leather in place of Naugahyde . [IMG]

I believe you would be. There are, however, these "other" gents who think these two things are funny on their face, whereas its more likely their faces are funny. But as I say, It's a good thing you are not one of them. Incidentally, I'm sure the hotties would envy your boots over my belt.[IMG]

I don't get it. The shoes seem completely unobjectionable. The differences between them and a pair of light chukkas is probably only noticeable to the owner, and anybody who would spend that much on a pair of shoes is obviously doing it because they have an interest in, and a love of, the craft of shoemaking. I have a light green alligator belt, so I can't really complain about that either. I wouldn't match it to anything else I was wearing, though. [IMG]

Generally the boots go under the belt, but whatever way works out for you and them...

The fact that you admit this is the first step in the healing process.

I don't doubt that there is little difference between these and a light pair of chukkas. I also have no reason to believe that these shoes are anything but well made as well as, near and dear to the owner.

I have green alligator belt too. I wouldn't match green either because it refers to grey, black and brown.
