Thanks for the advice, everyone. I am going to reject the jacket on Monday and have it redone the way I originally requested. I greatly appreciate the interest in the thread and thoughtful guidance.

Some of the comments made about the salesman and Attolini were a bit harsh, and based on my personal judgment of the situation, I think probably unfair. I'm glad that I didn't mention the retailer's name. Nevertheless, you pushed me to do the right thing.

I will say something in Attolini's defence. The MTM suits and jackets I have from them fit me flawlessly, better in fact than Rubinacci (multiple orders), Borrelli (MTM), and Castangia (MTM). In my experience, bespoke did not return a better fit than MTM. Matt, I respect your preference for Rubinacci, but their house style does not optimally complement everyone's physique. Attolini has made the best garments for me, and I'll stick with them after this order is corrected.

Sorry, scientifically it is the excess of testosterone that is associated with baldness . . . a common misconception.

If you are looking forward to wearing your new formal outfit, then it all turned out okay. Didn't it? If you have ANY reservations about it, return it!

Frankly, I agree with the previous post. I think they fed you a bulls**t story to cover their mistake. At the very least, you may want to ask for a discount.

I would have a very bad taste in my mouth knowing that my tailor has made up such a blatant lie to get me to pay for his mistake. Even if he made me fantastic clothes, I'd strongly consider leaving.

That's what Matt said. Clooney has a lot of hair on his head and not much on his chest; thus Clooney's appearance is evidence of his lack of testosterone.

Thanks for pointing that out. My bad. I've misread him before.
