I have to revive this thread briefly to touch on one other issue. The chukka looks really nice and versatile, but the only reason I'm a little hesitant is because I feel like getting the chukka would preclude me from getting a pair of suede bucks - something like this:
That shoe, with the brick-red sole, seems to be a pretty classic style, but I don't know if I can justify two pairs of suede shoes (at least for the foreseeable future). If I had all the money in the world, I'd have a pair of shoes for every mood, but I have to be a little more utilitarian than that.
Thoughts?
