Can't figure out how to edit the title on this post, so I am starting a new one. Sorry to clog things up.

A couple more things that were too small for my 210 pound frame, but that I just couldn't pass up...

This coat is by a fine LA men's clothier. It's vintage, but because of the general trad-iness of the store, tough to say how vintage. I will say that it passes the pinch test with flying colors, and is a really spectacularly beautiful coat. The silhouette isn't too boxy, either, as I hope you can see. I measured 21" underarm to underarm, which would make it about a 38-40R. ~30" collar to hem.

I can't tell you how badly I wanted this coat. I thought about losing weight just to wear it. I really want this one to have a good home. $45 shipped?

The coat's in wonderful shape, perfect lining, ebay. I found two very very very small moth nips, neither more than maybe 3mm. They're tough to spot because of the color of the coat, I only saw them while I was photographing. One is on the back, one is on the top pocket flap. I would rate the condition as 8.5/10, though, extremely wearable in any situation. If you disagree, ship it back and I'll give you your money back.

This second one is by Yves Saint Laurent. It's *not* vintage, and as far as I can tell is actually manufactured by YSL, not by some licensee like YSL menswear was for many years. Rive Gauche is the line that was designed by Tom Ford, though I'm not sure if this piece was, as I don't know what year it's from. The quality is fantastic, and the cut is spectacular. Hopeful the picture of my fat gut protruding from the coat will give you some idea of the beautiful shape. It's half-lined as you can see, made in Italy, really lovely. One nice feature is a little button in the sleeves with a little toggley type of deal; you can see it in the photo where I'm wearing the coat. Size is a bit longer in the sleeves than the above, but about the same -- 38-40" chest. Condition is as new, no damage or wear I can find. This one is a bit longer $125 shipped, or both coats for $150. Or all three for $170. I'm happy to provide more measurements if anyone needs/wants them.

The YSL is about 19 1/2" from shoulder to shoulder across the back, and 31" or 32" from the base of the collar to the bottom along the back center seam. 21" armpit to armpit across the back. 19.5 or so across the back at about, uhm, nipple height.

Anybody needs any other measurements, let me know.

Shoulders and waist on the DB? It looks to be a pretty stiff hand, right?

It is indeed stiff. The YSL is quite the opposite, an open-ish weave and very soft.

Shoulders on the DB are 19". Not sure exactly exactly where to measure the waist, but it's about 20".

Cool. The shoulders make it a 40R. It looks a classic, but it would be too big for me.

insight is appreciated, letme.

I think I'll put these on ebay if nobody here is wanting them... but I can hold out for another day or so.
