I believe the technical term for it is a "trepaniered" jacket cuff.

When I read the title I pictured something along the lines of Don Johnson's wardrobe. The way they have the cuffs isn't horrendous given that it's presumably to show off the watch as edmorel stated.

I think a different colored tie would look much better though....

Do you know for a fact this is tweed or are you just guessing? I'm having a hard time discerning the material.

Yuck - jacket buttons and pockets too low, waistcoat high, hardly any skirt on the jacket, and wanky indecisive up-turning of cuffs without any reason for doing so. Nice shirt collar, but why is it white when the cuffs are coloured? And a crap tie.

I get what you're saying; the positioning of the buttons relative to the pockets and the gorge seem to give the affect of an elongated look. I sort of like it.

Lately I've been thinking about chest pocket positioning and I plan of having it placed higher on my next commissions. This is probably an inch too high though.

The collar of the coat is loose. The sleeves are probably too long, if they sit where they do when turned up like that, which actually reminds me of the '80s, as does the quite low buttoning point. The cloth actually looks more like a glen check flannel. The shirt, as some have pointed out already, is quite nice, but contrast cuffs, too, would have been much nicer. The tie is unobjectionable. The coat is very slim, as are the sleeves, which seems effeminate.

Those are some impressively high armscyes for RTW.

I object to the tie. It's too similar to the suit in colour and scale (of check).

I do this all the time with RTW jackets where the sleeves are a little too long.
