I love, love, love their new album. What About the SF crowd?

Only thing disappointing me is that the awesome guitarist cut his hair and beard.

So, they are going to be in Dallas on the 28th.

I'm definitely going to be there.

I saw them a couple years ago open for Franz Ferdinand and thought they were one of the worst bands I've ever heard

but I havent heard anything lately from them so maybe they shifted their sound away from "suck"..??

I like all of their work, although I don't play it very often.

Wash the Day Away is GLORIOUSLY LOUD!!

Put the newest album on at work the other week. It lasted 2 whole songs, absolutely horrendous.

I've only heard a few of their songs but I don't like them. The half singing half rapping thing annoys me like The Streets.

I'd have to agree with this. I pretty much like all their stuff, and dig most of the new album, although I still think I prefer their first EP from '03 which is the only release I've really put through its paces. Those five tracks are pure genius, although there are some real standout tracks from their albums too..

Haha, I thought this thread was about those low channels on FM - like 88.1, which, in certain markets broadcast the local NBC, ABC or CBS affiliate

Liked the first two albums, but haven't seen them live. I missed them when they opened for Thievery Corp. in August.

seriously!! FTW has ALWAYS meant "**** the world" at least where I come from. this new "for the win" interpretation is gay as hell

I wonder if all the tough guys that got FTW tattoos are now feeling stupid with kids going "dood, FOR THE WIN brah, FOR THE WIN!!"

Well, thats what I get growing up on the internet fora. I've never even heard it as **** the world.
Damn my lack of age.

Regardless, I'm really excited to see them. I missed seeing Wolf Parade, which was one of my other obsessions, so hopefully I can get out to this one.

Bump to give props to TV on the Radio. Love Dog of their new album is a great song. They need to do a show in NC.

Bummed I couldn't make it,
