Exactly. Not only stiff, but DORKY! This is why moviemakers will portray asinine characters as buttoning all the buttons-see Steve Martin as the bumbling Clouseau in the recent "Pink Panther" for reference.

And not only does it make the guy look stuff, it makes the front of the jacket- particularily the area around the buttons buckle and wrinkle. This would be bad enough in a business meeting, but with a camera close-up on the anchor's torso right on your TV screen it exaggerates the sloppy and/ or stiff look.

As far as "making a big deal about this" have you READ this board?!?!? This is where people come to obsess about the minutae of wearing business clothing in the proper fashion-I've seen far smaller details debated here for far longer . And here we have a guy looking like ass in the largest TV market and fashion center in this hemispehre. You want some college kid to see a guy dressing like this on TV and think it's OK and then show up for a job interview with the bottom button of his suit coat buttoned, looking like a dumb kid whose father never taught him how to dress like a gentleman and a professional?

If this isn't a "big deal" Mr. Jovan, I suggest you put your money where your suit is, and the next time you have to make an important presentation do it in a three-button suit with all buttons buttoned so that it 1)looks like you are in a straight jacket 2) makes you look stiff and 3) limits your arm movement.
