Tuxedo Shoes opinion

Not sure if these are okay to be worn with a very formal Tuxedo(satin peak lapel) for my wedding. These are Mezlan shoes.

No, they are not. If you're not wearing opera pumps then you should be wearing patent lace-ups, not some half-patent slip-on things that can't decide whether they're formal or a loafer.

Eh, they're fine. Patent leather and conservative in everything but the laceup aspect. And a lot of the formal/informal distinctions are utter bullshit, including that one.

My opinion in black tie is that as long as you're true to the overall look- which is a masterpiece of men's fashion, high contrast, contrasts of black and white, shine and matte, razor sharp lines, no distracting elements, you'll look fine. Those shoes don't deviate from that.

The pic is a bit small to be sure, but they look like they're half patent and half plain calf, like some sort of bastardised tuxedo spectator. If they were entirely patent they wouldn't be too bad.
