I'm getting a custom tuxedo shirt made for my wedding from Spier & Mackay but the white royal twill I went with went out of stock. I was asked to pick an alternative in the $80 range but the only one within the same price range is a white brushed Oxford fabric. SpierAndMackay22SS_RY-2868_4829.jpg 40's. Would this be appropriate for a tuxedo shirt?

My other thought was to upgrade to either:
- Monti White Panama Weave SpierAndMackay22SS_TS-2961_7899.jpg 2 ply 100's $120
- White herringbone SpierAndMackay22SS_TS-2959_7895-t.jpg 2 ply 100's $120
- White cavalry twill SpierAndMackay22SS_MT-2794_7839.jpg 2 ply 100's $120
- Monti White End on End SpierAndMackay_TS-2953_8078.jpg 2 ply 100's $120
- White herringbone #2 MT-2802-MTM-1-editg.jpg 2 ply 80's $90
- Weba wrinkle resistant White Fine Twill SET-2658-MTM-1.jpg 50's $90
- Tessitura Monti White Herringbone TM-2736-MTM-1.jpg 2 ply 80's $130
- Tessitura Monti White Dobby TM-2734-MTM-1.jpg 2 ply 100's $130

Any clear winners would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I can't see above, but I would only go with a Voile with a Pique/Marcella bib...

Pique / Marcella / Dobby might be better for a white tie shirt, I think a tuxedo hirt should be broadcloth or soemthing close to it.

The "white end on end" here is plain woven, although... if it's white on white, then it really isn't end on end, it's just a solid plain weave, right?
