Have you had the opportunity to verify the black-on black match? Is it particularly the scoop neckline or the style of shawl collar which drew you to it?
Both the neckline and collar appeal to me. I have not, unfortunately, been able to compare the fabric or color match have no way of doing so until it arrives. It may be a moot point, however, given my recent discovery of a vintage waistcoat in a patterned silk. I just posted pictures of it, but as I am a new member my post was quarantined for review by big brother. I'm interested in your thoughts once you see it.

I have ordered CharlesTyrwhitt's offering (pictured), as it is of my preferred style and within budget. I will of course have to alter it to accommodate the removable buttons.
What is the body made of? If wool, then you could have a problem if the material isn't a perfect match for the rest of the suit.
