Brutally honest, love it. Alright I'm going to try on the Ralph today. There is a 42s RLBL on eBay for pretty cheap, but at 5 9.5 that may look awkward

Boy was my world just rocked. I tried on a Ralph Lauren purple label at barneys, just for fun as I work near it. I was planning on going to a different store to try on the Polo RL next. The 42 would not button at all on me, and the 44 was sort of at the edge of buttonability. Interesting an Isaia tux there was baggy at 44. Thus, I found a shawl tuxedo in 44R made by Ralph Lauren Black Label for a good deal online, and therefore the tuxedo journey ends.

I assume the RLBL will fit the same as RLPL, that's what the general sentiment I've read online is. Pic is below

Btw there's a (seemingly) good deal on an Isaia tuxedo if anyone is interested at the following link. I decided to save some cash and get the RLBL, I'll spend the money on booze in Italy https://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-...970767?hash=item1c91d8864f:g:uNoAAOSw8aNXGU6m

Why do shawl lapels always widen at the middle section?

I've always thought they'd look best if they were broad on top and narrowed as they went down, just like a regular notch lapel.
