Tuxedo - 1 pleat or flat front?

Hey guys,

I'm going to have tuxedos made under the new Benjamin label (classic single button peak lapel). Do you prefer flat front pants or single reverse pleated pants with your tuxedo? Also, I was thinking of doing side vents, which I know is not traditional, but any 1/2 decent tailor can close up the vents quite easily for those who prefer a non-vented jacket.

Please share your thoughts... thanks!

1 vote for flat.

Undecided about the vents (better than single vent, though!)

Will the tuxedos be similarly priced to the suits?
Also, will you consider making any 36 shorts?

I think I'd prefer side vents even on my dinner jackets. It just don't like the idea of sitting in a ventless jacket.

I prefer pleats, or pleat singular, to flat front - especially with pants where I will only be wearing suspenders. And I also vote for side vents.

Another question: will you offer grosgrain lapels/facings?

They'll be just slightly more - probably somewhere around $650.

Not sure about the sizes - we'll see... probably.

I vote for ventless, having double vent is just too fasion forward for me for a dinner jacket.
I prefer flat front pants, just claner when you try to dance away in your tux, but I think most tux pants come in as double reverse pleats.

I say flat.

Which of your cuts will the tux be offered in?

Two reverse please preferably - two side vents whilst not 'classic' (and will doubtless stir up comments here) do look effective on an evening suit/Dinner Jacket so I have them.
