Hello all.

This is my first post and am just beginning to invest in suits and tuxes and cloths that actually "fit"

I have taken my tux to the tailor because of weight drop. I've tried searching the entire forum for repeated posts but found none to altering the tapering of tux pants.

My tux pants are now way too baggy. While the waist/seat/rise is easily fixed, my tailor tells me with the Shiny line down the outseams, it's best not to mess with tapering as both the inseam and outseam needs to be taken equally. Is this true? I seem to think the seam is right beside the seam and it should be possible.

Anyway, thanks for the patience and the help in advance!

Thanks. I will talk with my tailor. Actually it's my drycleaner who throws a lot of business towards a private tailor.
