Hello !

i am going to go straight to the point!
i was in Vietnam last year and got myself 3 suits two of which fits okay, not great.
but one of them are so ill fitted that i was thinking of placing it in the bin and never looking back.

however i kept it.
i have lost a bit of weight over the last year and out of curiosity i tried the suit on, it still looks like s*** if not even worse now after the weight loss.
but this got me thinking, can i turn it into a DB jacket? have any of you tried it?
i am not afraid of destroying the jacket because the tailor did that for me when he made it(yes its that bad).
so can this be done ? will it look even worse?
i will upload photos of it on if i get any request for it :)

any thoughts are welcome

thanks

It is difficult to imagine how anyone could think that a single breasted garment can be converted into double breasted. Where on earth is the extra material (or in this case rag) coming from - even if you are sacrificing the trousers the join will be obvious

Don't waste your time posting pictures (ter1413 +1) or ours having to think to avoid them. Just burn it and think more carefully about what you ask in future to avoid appearing a fool.
