For a standard OCBD with Jeans...would tucking be overkill for someone in their mid 20's?

I'm 26 and I just can't bring myself to "tuck in" just yet. It would make it much easier, however. I'm 5'10'' and the shirts tend to be just a tad long if worn "untucked." I think it's an age thing. OCBD with Jeans in mid-20s is almost a MUST UNTUCK

Same age, same height here.

TBH, I think it looks so much better. But I just can't see myself rolling up somewhere being tucked with the above outfit...regardless of if I think it looks better.

Thanks for the post/reassurance.

I hear ya there! No way I can go to the bar for a game and be tucked in. I wear suits 10 hours a day and 6 days a week...wearing a button-down untucked feels damn good.

idk, i think it's just a preference thing. I'm 18 and i always tuck in. But I'm also 5'8, so most shirts are too long if i don't.

Untucked round-hems look awful; I wish more companies still made flat-hem shirts.

Wow. Unless I am doing a blazer, shirts do not enter my jeans!
For the people who tuck in shirts...do you also tuck in tee-shirts???

Hi, my name is acecow, I am 27 years old and I tuck my shirts in when wearing jeans.

I have a slim waist and I think it looks better on me. All my shirts are fitted, so they don't bulge out at the sides a lot. I find tucking in more elegant than leaving the shirt untucked.

And no, I don't tuck in t-shirts. I do tuck in a polo shirt occasionally, but mostly not.

Well a OCBD is much longer than a tee..totally different.
