This would be the highend Ernest/Trump collaboration, catering to the elusive but rich farmer pimp.  They run all the prosts at the truck stops, so their income is not inconsiderable.

Not so sure about that one.

When they go on quadruple discount as the line folds, I'll buy one.  That, and a really bad toupie, and next Hallowe'en, I'll be saying things like, "Now this is classy.  In fact, I believe that it is the most classy, and I see it as a solid investment, like my casinos.  I'm very proud of it."

Who are the mainfloor buyers for Macy's (East, I imagine), and what have they been smoking, btw?  Anyone in the know have any idea?

when will someone suggest to these "celebrities" who have their own crappy clothing lines: "you do realize that you know nothing about this line of business, and also you're a public laughingstock because of your ridiculous hair, right?"

I was at Macy's in NYC a couple of weeks ago when Trump was there to launch the new line.
The suits are cheap fused garbage made with stiff unattractive fabrics. I think it's meant to compete with the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Claiborne. I didn't stick around long enough to see if he was actually wearing the suits (the crowd was getting a little large).

Well, if Trump endorses it, it must be good. (and classy)

i saw him on Conan a couple weeks ago. they were talking about the line (rather Trump was) and Conan asked him if he was wearing one of his new suits, and Trump replied "yes you couldnt even tell could you" then Conan asked him to show him the label and trump only opened the jacket for a second and shut it before Conan could even look, which makes me think he was just bullshitting Conan and it was really a brioni suit that he was trying to play off as one of his own. Conan was also rather skeptical about the move.

    What an idiot.

A "˜smart' executive would've approached a tailor to remove all the labels from his Brioni's and replace them with labels from his own line. That way he could show that he indeed was wearing his own clothes, regardless if it was the truth or not.

Plus, its Donald Trump, not like he has to show people the Brioni label to show he has a decent (decent being relative, of course) amount of net worth.

Anyone like to wager how soon Century 21 and Men's Wearhouse receive a huge shipment of DT suits?
