1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was at Macy's in NYC a couple of weeks ago when Trump was there to launch the new line.
The suits are cheap fused garbage made with stiff unattractive fabrics. I think it's meant to compete with the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Claiborne. I didn't stick around long enough to see if he was actually wearing the suits (the crowd was getting a little large).

Well, if Trump endorses it, it must be good. (and classy)

i saw him on Conan a couple weeks ago. they were talking about the line (rather Trump was) and Conan asked him if he was wearing one of his new suits, and Trump replied "yes you couldnt even tell could you" then Conan asked him to show him the label and trump only opened the jacket for a second and shut it before Conan could even look, which makes me think he was just bullshitting Conan and it was really a brioni suit that he was trying to play off as one of his own. Conan was also rather skeptical about the move.

    What an idiot.

A "˜smart' executive would've approached a tailor to remove all the labels from his Brioni's and replace them with labels from his own line. That way he could show that he indeed was wearing his own clothes, regardless if it was the truth or not.

Plus, its Donald Trump, not like he has to show people the Brioni label to show he has a decent (decent being relative, of course) amount of net worth.

From that picture, I see that he has TWO things going for him. [IMG]

Anyone like to wager how soon Century 21 and Men's Wearhouse receive a huge shipment of DT suits?

Do Costco and Walmart sell suits? If not, they might soon.

Will they be lined with some sort of gold fabric?

Perhaps, to paraphrase Aldous Huxley, silk acetate.

I'm envisioning even the buyers at Costco and Walmart taking a pass on the Trump line, which means that you'll be able to purchase a DT suit dirt cheap at a street pushcart or fleamarket near you.

You just know he'll follow on with a bimo-esque line for the ladies.... how long before we see "TRAMP."

The DT suits are made in a distinctive "comb-over" weave.  One consequence, however, is they come in only one color: burnt orange.
