My pair came in this Monday, will post pictures by the end of the week. I've only had one wear in them thus far, but from what I can tell, the boot is incredibly crafted. They are also superbly comfortable.

The unstructured toe is great. I wanted a boot that had the durability of a workbook, but with a bit more of a modern touch to it, and I think the unstructured look adds that element. Time will tell how the toes hold up, but from first impressions, there is still substantial support in the toe that prevents it from collapsing altogether.

The rough out is great too. It's soft, but sturdy. The coyote leather he's using for future orders seems quite interesting - it sounds like it will hold up very well under the elements, however, I would say the color of the hide looks a bit more "sandy" than the color of the natural cxl rough out.

Thanks for your response, what did these cost by the way (before shipping north of the border)? Looking to get a similar pair and would like to use special order CXL roughout rather than in-stock coyote.

They look great. Can you please take some overhead and side profile photos? Possibly side-by-side with Viberg if you have any?

You are thinking better pricing for a GMTO?

I think Vince will pretty much make you what you want.

Maybe there's a deal to be had for a group buy though. Or some leather that has a minimum buy...

Could be fun.

New sole options are nice. Boots are tough and awesome. I think you'd like them.

I received my Truman boots last week. Here are the specs...
Natural roughout
Unstructured toe
Toe cap
No pull loop
Color 8 cxl tongue

I have a pair of White's smokejumpers and sized the same which I think, once the sole breaks in, will be perfect. Vince's last is a little bit wider then a standard last (imo) but fits my foot perfectly.

(pic note: The tongue is twisted and not that high in reality)
