You see this misalignment alot on stitch down for some reason, prevalent even on Viberg. It does bug me too, but seems fairly common.

Need some feedback from the brotherhood on if you all think these are significant issues:

2) The other is my right boot where the vamp is askew as it looks like the right and left parts were misaligned when stitched.

What do you all think?

Thanks, sorry didn't click on the reddit link. Slightly shorter than C width Barrie, but I;m guessing fuller/wider at the toe?

Definitely. See new pics (comparing Truman 11B, Alden (Barrie) 10.5C, and Alden (Barrie) 10D. Surprisingly, although the Trumans look significantly wider at the toe from above, sideways profile shows them to not be *that* much wider than 10.5C Barrie.

Very helpful, thanks. I can likely go 9 narrow (for the derby at least), 8.5C Barrie is good in the forefoot. 8D is too short.

The graphite boots look killer. They have me wondering if I made the right decision on the build I'm waiting on.

They got a little smacked around...

But I licked my finger, rubbed the banged up area and brushed:

Really liking how the patina is developing on these, and they're really comfortable - very glad I was able to get the JR soles on these as they have a very soft feel (same is true on my AE shell Strands that have JR).

Satch - do you endorse going up 1/2 size and down width for Truman vs Barrie? I wear an 12C or 12.5B in Barrie and am thinking of going with 13B in Truman...sound about right?

I think that depends on which Barrie fits your feet better. I think Truman's B width is more like a C width. My 11B Truman feels slightly more roomy than my 10.5C Barrie (although the Barrie is definitely longer). If you're comfortable in a 12C Barrie with plenty of toe room, the 12.5B Truman should be sufficient.

Also what's your brannock? I think Truman's length is definitely TTS on Brannock. And remember that the toebox is wide, even for a B.

Also, definitely communicate with them prior to ordering. If you go with their recommendation and it doesn't fit, they're more likely to remake them in a different size.

Thanks for the quick reply. Brannock = 12.5C
