True tales - the power of the Drakes Knit Tie

I thought I'd share this - kind of funny. I went to the DMV wearing my usual kit, including a white polka dot Drakes tie. The guy at the desk checking people in says "where did you get that tie, I've been looking for one like that for ages."

I told him I got it from Drakes, and he indicated he had seen them online and just hadn't ordered one yet. He asked me about shipping, etc. Next thing I know they are calling my number, ahead of all the other people who were waiting.

Who says dressing well doesn't get you anywhere

I'm not surprised at the favorable treatment you got.

I am surprised there's people who work at the DMV that's interested in clothes.
