well they obviously make it look like sam dies, but it's obviously Bill's plan and Sam will most likely live.

I'm thinking Maryann is dead/banished, and Eggs dies. Maybe the skinny old sheriff too, so Eddy gets a go.

jesus has that show jumped the shark. the whole maryanne angle is stupid on a level that may not as of yet been reached by any other show. The church of the sun bullshit was just horrific. I mean, some parts of this show are absolutely cartoonishly bad. I haven't kept up with it for that reason, and frankly I only watched because I need to watch what is current and popular for what I do.

Not really sure how a romantic-horror-fantasy mishmash show can jump the shark but the storyline of Maryann is pretty awful yeh. I didn't mind the church of the sun stuff, atleast the characters were interesting and we got the good Godrick bits plus a bit of Eric backstory. I think without Godrick in the middle of this season it would've been a flop.
They kinda kept people interested by throwing in little tidbits of good storyline over the top of the overall bad storyline. I have a bit of faith next season will be better, Maryann storyline will be wrapped up this season hopefully with some repurcusions/deaths and they can start introducing werewolves and some other supernatural stuff.

I think the show is based loosely off the books. I enjoy wathcing it. Maryanne can die according to greek mythology.
If I was to knock off some characters it would be
    1. Maryanne
    2. Tara with eggs ( double homicide)
    3. Hoyts Mom
    4. a few random townies

As for who will get it sunday I simply don't know.

    +1

IMO it's not supposed to be anything more than a campy romp with tits and vampires. I'm not sure how anyone could have mistaken it for something else...

My expectations are low after the last (extremely disappointing) episode.

I'm not sure how it was any different from their regular ways - a couple of lame, slow episodes that build up to something really cool.

I actually enjoy the subtle few moments in the slow episodes that build up to coolness (like the queen, or eric flying in the last one)

I am very, very disappointed. It's like they created a huge platform for a climax, the climax never came, and they just wrapped up the season without anything happening.
