I have recently had my second MTM suit made and wore it yesterday. I have noticed that the trousers "flaps" at the bottom (if you know what I mean) when walking. Is it because the trousers have been cut too short (they fall 1 inch above the top of the heel) or / and too wide at the bottom (the bottom width is 17.2 inches). I don't like my trousers too long so had asked for them to be cut the way I have described above but now I am wondering if that is causing these to "flap" at the bottom when walking.
The fabric is Scabal - blend of Super 110's and Cashmere (I believe the Cashmere content is 10%). The jacket falls nicely - better than the Scabal Super 100's I have. Would tapering the trousers and / or reducing the circumference of the cuffs reduce the flapping?
Many thanks.
