What are some of your strategies to preserve the trouse crease and prevent wrinkles?
I've been hanging trousers lenthwise from their bottom and actually clipping the crease lines with two wooden clothing pins on each side. If I don't do this I lose the crease with about 3 wearings.
I find if I hang them halfway instead of lengthwise the crease also is destroyed and the wrinkles don't stretch out overnight. I've come to think pants without the crease look much worse even with the highest quality pant.

Do you guys use pant presses and irons and how often? any risk observed in using them too often of damaging the material (shine etc)?

I use an old fashion solution-an iron!
Just iron before each wear. Not that difficult!

I steam the pants and iron the crease prior to each wear.

Also...to prevent shine, etc.....use a handkerchief when you iron.
This is not a difficult question..

I have a fantastic fabric steamer so I don't really worry about this.
