Trip to London in March

Hi guys, I will be going to London in mid March for one week. Will there be any good deals around? Can I find any bargain at John Smedley shops in London in instead of travelling all the way to their factory shop?

And what is the weather like?

I was at the Smedley shop on Brooke St right after Xmas, and the stock was pretty light and picked through. Doubt you'll find much on sale during March, since that is when new stock starts to arrive and if there is sale merch it'll probably be large sizes.

There will probably be no sale stock in the Smedley shop on Brook Street in March. You'll find the year-round basics in merino along with the current Spring/Summer collection in sea island cotton.

It's a long way to go to the factory shop in Matlock Bath, but the prices are fantastic there. I haven't been in years, but you can expect about a 70% discount from retail. Inspect what you're buying, obviously, since some of it is imperfect, but you can be sure that all of it is wearable; the true disasters never make it into the outlet shop.

And if you do make your way up there, that part of the Peak District is quite picturesque. Be sure to explore the trail along the river between the factory and the town of Matlock.

So, it sounds like a trip to Northampton for shoes is inevitable, as you guys said no good deals could be found in that time of the year in London.
