I think the Barrie Last runs a half size big, at least it does for me. I have both Trickers and Alden Barrie lasted shoes and wear and 8.5 in each. I typically take a 9 US in most shoe brands.

I wear a 10.5US in Barrie and 9.5UK/10.5US in Tricker's from the country line (Stow, Bourton) although a 10UK will also work although slightly big.
I've got some Tricker's monks from the 1829 collection in 10UK which fit well.

So if you wear a 9.5US in Barrie, you should probably get the 8.5UK of those boots you linked to.

that advice sounds extreme. I would recommend the same size in trickers stow and alden barrie. my 11 UK stows are not longer than my 10.5D barrie boots ... though larger at ankle and more full in the toe. if you are 9.5D barrie i would start w/ 9.5 uk in trickers ... 8.5 would be too short i think. Barrie last is better for long flat and wide feet ... stow last for stubby fat feet. YMMV. if "true" 10 US i would start with 9.5 UK. but know that last shape matters a lot.

I would be very careful comparing shoe sizes from a distance. When I was on Jermyn street trying on shoes, not only did different sellers use different size "typologies", but those that were supposedly common differed. In fact, I have not found this much variation among American mfrs. I had an especially hard time finding and Trickers shoes that fit right. Be particularly careful if you are after boots and have a high arch!

There is no way to be certain. I have even had shoes that took a few wears to figure out were the wrong size.
